Calvin Mui founded Autoeight, a connector business that leverages the latest language and decision models to decipher signals and patterns across markets, connecting buyers and sellers.
Its principal offer is routing capital: introducing those who need capital to those who deploy it.
Since founding Autoeight in 2025, he has built a network centred on Asia, from Hong Kong to Singapore, and reaching into the UK, Switzerland, Australia and North America, connecting founders and HNWIs with capital allocators and the advisers who serve them: family offices, strategic buyers, M&A advisers, wealth managers and more.
Before Autoeight, he designed and built commercial AI systems for business owners in Hong Kong. He is in his penultimate year at HKUST, studying Mathematics and AI, supported by a scholarship and startup funding from the DBIP program at the HKUST Entrepreneurship Center. On the side, he tutors teenagers to create real-world value with the latest advances in AI.
